private tables are invite-only prediction markets. unlike public labs or official markets, private tables are hidden from the main feed and require an access code to participate.

create the table
write your question, set timing, and generate a unique access code. pay the creation fee (0.02 SOL).
share the code
send the access code to your friends via DM, group chat, or however you communicate. keep it secret!
friends join
recipients enter the code to unlock the market. they can then bet YES or NO like any other market.
resolve & settle
when the event concludes, you resolve the market. winners claim their SOL.

don't share codes publicly. anyone with the code can join and bet.
codes are one-time. each table gets a unique code. you can't reuse codes.
on-chain but hidden. the market exists on Solana but won't appear in public feeds.

can someone find my private market on-chain?
technically yes - it's on Solana. but without the code, they can't access it through our interface.
what if i lose the access code?
you can always find it in your creator dashboard. but users who lost it will need you to re-share.
can i make the market public later?
no, privacy settings are locked at creation. create a new public market if needed.
is there a limit to participants?
no participant limit, but the 10 SOL pool cap applies. first come, first served.
